Dee Nasty never left the scene, the flight case or his stack of records under his arm, he played in house parties on the ground of a free part in festivals and in MJC, bars and clubs in the provinces and Paris. After the release of his album NASTYNESS in 2001, he toured for two years in the world with Cachaito Lopez (REP), bassist of the Buena Vista Social Club, alongside the explosive late Cuban percussionist Anga Diaz (REP), which had brought to Cuba to record his first solo album Echu Mingu (World Circuit, 2005). eclectic musician, Dee Nasty also collaborated with Elephant System (avatar reggae-dub of trashy Treponem Pal) and Manu made with the devil. It runs since 2009 with Urban Swing Sound System
His last SYSTEM DEE , including a preview was available on the self-titled EP, is out. A dream for some, relief for others, one thing is certain: "the old timer is back! "Trad Vibe and that he has chosen!
